10 MGA BAGAY NA DAPAT TANDAAN TUWING MAY PNP CHECKPOINTS

President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a proclamation, declaring a state of national emergency on account of lawless violence in the country.

Proclamation No. 55 commands the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to "suppress all forms of lawless violence in Mindanao and prevent violence from spreading."

Several checkpoints have been put up in major thoroughfares in Metro Manila and other parts of the country after the proclamation took effect.
