Pinoy with 4.8 kilos of cocaine arrested at NAIA

MANILA - A Filipino was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 for attempting to smuggle high-grade cocaine into the country.

Based on initial information gathered by ABS-CBN News, the passenger, identified as Jon Jon Timbang Villamin Jr., arrived at NAIA-3 on board a commercial Emirates Airlines flight.

Around 4.8 kilos of high-grade cocaine was found inside his luggage when he was apprehended by law enforcers.

Authorities are still interrogating Villamin to determine the source and the final destination of the illegal drugs.
